I want your money.

I went to apply for a NIP (personal tax file number) after being told they would verify my eligibility and send it to me after 4 weeks, I asked the lady as kindly as I could, not knowing the words for tax rates.., "can you please tell me how much tax I will pay"

To which she replied confidently "your employer will pay the tax for you"

"Yes but it is my money and I want to know how much it will be"?

"It's not your money, it's the governments money"

Simple really.. why should I worry about that?
